About these terms

These terms govern your use of quality-website.com and any services Quality Website provides to you. They form a contract between you and Quality Website (“we”, “us”). If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site or engage our services.

Services we provide

We provide website design, search engine optimisation (SEO), content writing and AI Optimisation services to small and medium businesses, primarily in the UK and US. Specific deliverables, timelines and pricing for any engagement are set out in a separate proposal or order form which, once signed or paid for, is incorporated into these terms.

Payment

Setup fees are payable in advance. Monthly fees are billed monthly in advance by automatic card payment via Stripe. Late payments may result in service suspension after 14 days’ written notice. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

Deliverables and revisions

Each package includes a defined number of revision rounds during the build phase. Additional revisions, scope changes or new pages added after launch are quoted separately. We aim to meet stated delivery times (e.g., 14 days for Starter) but cannot guarantee them where delays are caused by client feedback, content, or third parties.

Intellectual property

On full payment of all fees due, you own all final deliverables (designs, copy, code) created specifically for your business. We retain ownership of our underlying methodologies, templates, processes and any pre-existing components incorporated into the deliverables. We may show non-confidential work in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us in writing not to.

Hosting and uptime

Where we provide hosting as part of a monthly package, we target 99.9% uptime measured monthly. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, force majeure, or client-side changes that break the site.

Ending the engagement

Either party may end a monthly engagement with 30 days’ written notice. On termination you can request an export of your site and content. Setup fees and monthly fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by UK law.

Liability

We will perform our services with reasonable care and skill. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the engagement is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (e.g., death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
