Who we are
Quality Website (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a UK-based web design and SEO agency. You can contact us at hello@quality-website.com. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, Quality Website is the data controller for personal data submitted via this website.
What data we collect
- Contact form submissions: business name, your name, email address, current website URL, industry, and any free-text details you choose to share.
- Email correspondence: the contents of any email you send us.
- Technical data: anonymised analytics (pages visited, approximate region, device type) collected via privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
We process your data to (a) respond to enquiries and deliver the services you have asked for, (b) fulfil our contractual obligations to clients, (c) keep records required by UK tax and accounting law, and (d) understand which content on this site is useful so we can improve it.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after last contact, then deleted. Client records are retained for 7 years after the engagement ends to comply with UK accounting law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see “Your rights” below.
Who we share it with
We only share data with the minimum set of processors required to operate: our email provider, our payments processor (Stripe), our hosting provider, and our analytics provider. Each is contractually bound to process data only on our instructions and to UK/EU adequacy standards. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise any right, email hello@quality-website.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses essential cookies to keep the site working and a single first-party analytics cookie to understand aggregate usage. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any content.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change this policy we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify clients by email.
